Cleaning my makeup brushes!!

Cleaning your makeup brushes is so very important because as you may or may not know bacteria can grow inside of your makeup brush and can also collect germs and dust ( no one wants to be applying dust mites onto their face/skin), not to mention that your makeup application will work better with a nice clean makeup brush rather than a dirty makeup brush.  Its also important for maintaining your skin nice and clear and free from all of those nasty enemies trying to live inside of your makeup brushes.. You should cleanse your makeup brushes at least once a week but it also depends on how often you use them. If you use your makeup brushes every single day then you should wash your makeup brushes every single day, I usually use my makeup brushes a few times a week, however I do have some backup brushes that I do rotate on a weekly basis. This video is basically showing you how I clean my makeup brushes by just using shampoo and extra virgin olive oil. I've noticed that both products work great when combined as the shampoo is great to lift away the makeup and the extra virgin olive oil is great for conditioning the bristles on your brush. Going Green Eyeshadows

                Using the BH Cosmetics 120 palette 1st edition to create this look.

Liquid liners that I used was my favorite maybelline stiletto line in black, NYX Gold liquid liner and of course had to use my LA Colors shimmering loose eyeshadow in BES402 Sunshine.. Love the glittery gold look.

This L.A. Colors shimmering loose eyeshadow cost me $1 at the Dollar Tree...

For the lips I am using the NYX Athena lipstick and blending with wet n wilds hot pink lipstick.

Eyeliners I used for this look was the NYX jumbo pencil in black bean and Wet n Wilds in turquoise.

 For the blush I used Wet n Wilds #831E pearlescent pink.

Loving the Golds

Using the Naked palette for this look.

I thought the look would look so nice with red lips, I'm using L'Oreal Endless # 730 in Saucy Sangria, I am in love with this red color, it is such a deep red. Yes I know this picture does not do any justice to how beautiful the color really is.

This has become one of my favs in shimmery white shadows..

 First one from the Naked Palette that I applied for this look.

 The Second one, blended on top of sidecar.. Its such a beautiful color... <3

 The Third color, How I love this color as well. It reminds me of an antique gold color. I also used a dark brown color for this look.

Like I've stated before, I love how precise this liquid eyeliner is. I'm always using it.

 How buying this NYX Gold liner came in handy for this makeup look.. ;)

 I've decided to use only a bronzer for this look. I wanted it to have that nice sun kiss look, but if you prefer blush then go for it!!! I bought this Bronzer in VS. It was on sale so I decided to buy it and give it a try. Let me tell you that I am glad that I purchased it cause I love how pretty it is and how it blends well onto the skin, and the color is also great. It does have some shimmer to it which its great for the summer..

Night Out Look

Using my BH Cosmetics palette to create this look. I used the silver shadow as well as the black shadow.

Keeping the focus on the eyes, so I decided to keep the lips in a nude color.

Love using the NYX jumbo eye pencil to create smokey eyes, but not to fond for tight lining and using it on the water lines as it smudges and gives you a racoon look. 

Just bought this baked shadow from VS, its such a pretty pearly white eyeshadow. It has some shimmer to it which I think its very pretty. I got it on sale for $3.

Also bought this liquid eyeliner from VS, the color is called gun metal. I really like this liquid liner as it has glitter in it. Love applying it on dark smokey eyes to give it a bit of sparkle.

Bought this NYX lipstick at Ulta. I love shopping at Ulta,  its a very pretty nude color and it goes on very smoothly. I also love the price. $4 #522 Circe

Also from NYX is this silver liquid eyeliner. I love the brush applicator, its so thin that it makes it easy to apply and it was only $3 at Ulta.

I bought these at Walgreens, don't quite remember how much they were, but I do remember that they were on sale so I decided to buy them and see if the colors did fit me, lol. The top blush is in light pink and the bottom one is in mauve. I used the mauve blush for this look. I actually like that these blushes blend really nicely when applied. Don't regret buying them. I would recommend you buying it and giving them a chance.

Having fun doing this updo, using bobby pins, curling iron and hairspray. You can use whatever hairspray that works best for you, I like to use the Tresemme Hairspray.

Pink Smokey Eyeshadows!

I had just purchased the BH Cosmetics 1st edition 120 Color Palette, I was very pleased with the eyeshadow colors and how pigmented they were, I was also pleased with the price. So many pretty colors that I never thought about using because I am more of a neutral colors type of Gal, but I decided to have fun with the palette and this was my first time using pink shadows.. Its nice to change things up here and there. ;)

So Many Colors to play with and so affordable. I bought my bh cosmetic palette @ Amazon for $18. I loveee shopping at Amazon. Let me know: whats your favorite eyeshadow palette?
