How I do The Smokey Eyes Look

I love to play around with my makeup. I did this smokey look which is simple and everyone has created the smokey look before but I also wanted to give it a bit of pop by using some gold. You know that I love gold. lol In this look I used the black and brown shadow from my BH Cosmetics, as well as the black shadow from my Naked Palette. I've also applied a bronze eyeshadow color from cover girl. I  used my black NYX jumbo pencil only on the lids, NYX gold liquid eyeliner, and the gold glitter for the eyes. For the cheeks I used the FIT Me blush in Mauve.  And finally for the lips I used a nude color lip liner from Rimmel, a sandalwood color lipstick topping it off with a clear lip gloss.

I love this shade, I forgot where I bought this lipstick so I apologize for that, but I'm pretty sure you can find it online. The shade is called "Do The Hustle" and its from m.vie.

Here is the video on how I created the look.. :)

DIY: Avocado Mask for the Hair & Face

I love making my own mask wether if its for the face or for the hair, just knowing that I am using all natural ingredients makes me feel great. I have in the past bought expensive facial masks, facial toners, and moisturizers and nothing really compares to what mother nature has for us. Comparing the ingredients from a store bought product like moisturizers, toners, etc. if you look at the ingredients on the labels theres some ingredients that I can not even pronounce as to all natural products you know exactly what is going into your skin. I also believe that using natural products is much more healthier for your skin and for the hair. I made this video to share with you how you can make a simple hair and face mask with just using ingredients that you find in your kitchen and believe me when I say that it is also so beneficial to your hair and face/skin. I have color treated hair which is also thin and I love applying this mask as it leaves my dry frizzy hair feeling soft, strong, shiny and manageable. I encourage you all to do your own research and to try out this mask and see if it works for you. Please do not try the mask wether if its for the hair/skin/face if you are allergic to any of these products.

Some of the benefits of using avocado for the hair: Helps prevent hair loss and promotes hair growth.
-Avocados are high in vitamins B & E which works to protect and strengthen the hair. Vitamin B is great for hair growth and Vitamin E helps repair damage on the scalp.
-Avocado also moisturizes dry/damaged hair.

I love extra virgin olive oil so much. I used evoo as my night moisturizer and its so beneficial to the hair as well. Some benefits of using evoo for the hair:
High on vitamins A & E, also rich in Biotin and Niacin. Great for moisturizing the hair especially if its dried and damaged hair.

Honey is such a wonderful product. I also love using honey as a face mask in its plain form, but its also great for the hair. Some of the benefits in using honey for the hair:
Honey is a humectant which means that it holds on to water molecule and there for is very hydrating to the hair.

How to do the hair mask:
use 75% of the avocado
1 TBS of EVOO
1 TBS of Honey
Start to mix and mash the ingredients together making sure that there is no big chunks of avocado. Start applying the mix to damp or dry hair and leave on for 20/30 minutes. Once time is up its time to go rinse the mask completely out of your hair and shampoo.

Time for the Face Mask

Benefits of using avocado for your face:
High on vitamins A & C it also can help slow down the signs of aging. It has Anti-Microbial properties , it also moisturizes the face.

The benefits of using Strawberries to the face:
High on vitamin C which also promotes anti-aging and helps to reduce wrinkles as well as blemishes. Strawberries are high on antioxidants. (Some people are allergic to strawberries, so if you are one of them please feel free not to add strawberries to this mask).

Benefits for using honey on the face:
Honey has natural antioxidants its also anti-microbial. Honey also has the ability to absorb and retain moisture, its also great for treating minor acne.

How to do the face mask:
Using the last of the avocado which you should have 25% of the avocado left over
2 Strawberries
1 TBS of honey

Start to mash up the avocado and strawberries making sure you do not leave any big chunks, then add the honey and start to mix all of the ingredients together. Make sure that you cleansed your face prior to the mask. Apply the mask and leave on for 20min then go rinse out the mask. Your face should feel very soft.

Hope that I was helpful. Here is the video on how I did the mask for the hair and for the face. :)
