Cute little combo from Tampax, which came with 3 panty liners, 2 tampons and one infinity pad all in a cute wristlet pouch, I was asked to give this product to a friend so they can test it out so I decided to give it to my niece (minus the tampons) as she already goes through her lady days. The design of the wristlet is so cute especially for young girls. She loved it.

What an Honor to receive this award!!!!

I know that I do not have much followers on my blog, but the ones that I do have have been more than supportive to me and to my blog page which I am truly thankful!!! I just received this award from the beautiful Butterscotchchick who in all her sincerity and sweetness thought that I deserved this award. Along with receiving this award I am required to reveal 7  things about myself that you the reader may not know about me, so here we go.

1. I'm a Pisces
2. I'm a Catholic/Christian
3. I'm a gamer, yes I love playing video games!!
4. I love to meditate, wether in the form of praying the Holy Rosary or just taking some quiet time and doing breathing exercises.  It helps me out a lot
5. Do not like the summer
6. Very family orientated
7. I'm a worrywart, I'm constantly worrying about everything in life, I guess thats why I meditate. lol

That is all that I can think of. It was kind of hard for me to think of what I should write down about myself because believe it or not I don't like sharing much about my personal life with others as I do tend to be a private person with certain aspect in my life. I know it must be silly of me but thats just the way I grew up to be.

With this award you have to pass it down to another blogger, and since I do not have many followers I guess I have to choose the one blogger that has not received it yet. So I send it to Maquillalo, I want to send it to her because I do believe she also deserves it.

I would love to say a big THANK YOU to Butterscotchchick once again for being such a big supporter and for having such a beautiful kind heart that she loves to share with all. <3

How I do The Smokey Eyes Look

I love to play around with my makeup. I did this smokey look which is simple and everyone has created the smokey look before but I also wanted to give it a bit of pop by using some gold. You know that I love gold. lol In this look I used the black and brown shadow from my BH Cosmetics, as well as the black shadow from my Naked Palette. I've also applied a bronze eyeshadow color from cover girl. I  used my black NYX jumbo pencil only on the lids, NYX gold liquid eyeliner, and the gold glitter for the eyes. For the cheeks I used the FIT Me blush in Mauve.  And finally for the lips I used a nude color lip liner from Rimmel, a sandalwood color lipstick topping it off with a clear lip gloss.

Cover Girl  4KT 260 Cofe SHP

I love this shade, I forgot where I bought this lipstick so I apologize for that, but I'm pretty sure you can find it online. The shade is called "Do The Hustle" and its from m.vie.

Here is the video on how I created the look.. :)

DIY: Avocado Mask for the Hair & Face

I love making my own mask wether if its for the face or for the hair, just knowing that I am using all natural ingredients makes me feel great. I have in the past bought expensive facial masks, facial toners, and moisturizers and nothing really compares to what mother nature has for us. Comparing the ingredients from a store bought product like moisturizers, toners, etc. if you look at the ingredients on the labels theres some ingredients that I can not even pronounce as to all natural products you know exactly what is going into your skin. I also believe that using natural products is much more healthier for your skin and for the hair. I made this video to share with you how you can make a simple hair and face mask with just using ingredients that you find in your kitchen and believe me when I say that it is also so beneficial to your hair and face/skin. I have color treated hair which is also thin and I love applying this mask as it leaves my dry frizzy hair feeling soft, strong, shiny and manageable. I encourage you all to do your own research and to try out this mask and see if it works for you. Please do not try the mask wether if its for the hair/skin/face if you are allergic to any of these products.

Some of the benefits of using avocado for the hair: Helps prevent hair loss and promotes hair growth.
-Avocados are high in vitamins B & E which works to protect and strengthen the hair. Vitamin B is great for hair growth and Vitamin E helps repair damage on the scalp.
-Avocado also moisturizes dry/damaged hair.

I love extra virgin olive oil so much. I used evoo as my night moisturizer and its so beneficial to the hair as well. Some benefits of using evoo for the hair:
High on vitamins A & E, also rich in Biotin and Niacin. Great for moisturizing the hair especially if its dried and damaged hair.

Honey is such a wonderful product. I also love using honey as a face mask in its plain form, but its also great for the hair. Some of the benefits in using honey for the hair:
Honey is a humectant which means that it holds on to water molecule and there for is very hydrating to the hair.

How to do the hair mask:
use 75% of the avocado
1 TBS of EVOO
1 TBS of Honey
Start to mix and mash the ingredients together making sure that there is no big chunks of avocado. Start applying the mix to damp or dry hair and leave on for 20/30 minutes. Once time is up its time to go rinse the mask completely out of your hair and shampoo.

Time for the Face Mask

Benefits of using avocado for your face:
High on vitamins A & C it also can help slow down the signs of aging. It has Anti-Microbial properties , it also moisturizes the face.

The benefits of using Strawberries to the face:
High on vitamin C which also promotes anti-aging and helps to reduce wrinkles as well as blemishes. Strawberries are high on antioxidants. (Some people are allergic to strawberries, so if you are one of them please feel free not to add strawberries to this mask).

Benefits for using honey on the face:
Honey has natural antioxidants its also anti-microbial. Honey also has the ability to absorb and retain moisture, its also great for treating minor acne.

How to do the face mask:
Using the last of the avocado which you should have 25% of the avocado left over
2 Strawberries
1 TBS of honey

Start to mash up the avocado and strawberries making sure you do not leave any big chunks, then add the honey and start to mix all of the ingredients together. Make sure that you cleansed your face prior to the mask. Apply the mask and leave on for 20min then go rinse out the mask. Your face should feel very soft.

Hope that I was helpful. Here is the video on how I did the mask for the hair and for the face. :)

My Skincare Routine

Hi Guys, I wanted to share with you what I do as far as for my skincare routine. I do have sensitive skin so I have to be careful with what I use. I do tend to break out especially in the summer time.  In this video I'm showing you the products that I use which consists of a gentle cleanser, Honey, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Please note that I do explain in the video why using these products are great for your skin). I love using these products as they are very natural except for the cleanser, lol but I am very big on natural products and I hope that you guys will give it a try, that is if you are not allergic to any of the things that I mentioned. I always encourage people to do their own research and to see what natural products works best for them. I hope that this video can be of some help for some of you out there.. Remember guys, MOTHER NATURE HAS US COVERED!!!

Cleaning my makeup brushes!!

Cleaning your makeup brushes is so very important because as you may or may not know bacteria can grow inside of your makeup brush and can also collect germs and dust ( no one wants to be applying dust mites onto their face/skin), not to mention that your makeup application will work better with a nice clean makeup brush rather than a dirty makeup brush.  Its also important for maintaining your skin nice and clear and free from all of those nasty enemies trying to live inside of your makeup brushes.. You should cleanse your makeup brushes at least once a week but it also depends on how often you use them. If you use your makeup brushes every single day then you should wash your makeup brushes every single day, I usually use my makeup brushes a few times a week, however I do have some backup brushes that I do rotate on a weekly basis. This video is basically showing you how I clean my makeup brushes by just using shampoo and extra virgin olive oil. I've noticed that both products work great when combined as the shampoo is great to lift away the makeup and the extra virgin olive oil is great for conditioning the bristles on your brush. Its quick, easy and very affordable. Hope this information helped you.. <3

Going Green Eyeshadows

Using the BH Cosmetics 120 palette 1st edition to create this look.

Liquid liners that I used was my favorite maybelline stiletto line in black, NYX Gold liquid liner and of course had to use my LA Colors shimmering loose eyeshadow in BES402 Sunshine.. Love the glittery gold look.

This L.A. Colors shimmering loose eyeshadow cost me $1 at the Dollar Tree...

For the lips I am using the NYX Athena lipstick and blending with wet n wilds hot pink lipstick.

Eyeliners I used for this look was the NYX jumbo pencil in black bean and Wet n Wilds in turquoise.

For the blush I used Wet n Wilds #831E pearlescent pink.
