Influenster: The Paradise VoxBox

I was excited to receive this voxbox from Influenster. The Paradise VoxBox was sent to me a couple of days ago and I was surprise to see the goodies that were mailed to me. Here is what I received:

"OLAY FRESH EFFECTS" It was great to see this full size Olay Fresh Cleanser. Now, I have tried other cleansers from Olay but never this one. What is great about this cleanser is that it does minimized the shine on my face, and I truly do love how clean and fresh my sensitive skin felt after using this cleanser. It states that the Olay Fresh Cleanser retails for $6.99. I would most definitely buy this cleanser once it runs out as it does as it promises.

I was truly excited to receive this in the Paradise VoxBox. I have been wanting to buy these insoles for a very long time now. I do love high heel shoes but it seems as they do not love me back. (LOL)  

Every time that I wear a pair of nice heels my feet can only support them for the minimum of maybe 10 minutes. These Dr. Scholl's For Her are very comfy,  I tried them with a pair of 3inch heels and they were not bothering as they have in the pass. I have these 5 inch leather boots that I bought but still haven't worn them (as we are still in the summer season) but once the Fall season comes along I will be rocking them happily of course with the Dr. Scholl's For Her. I do recommend them.

This is the NYC New York Color Sparkle Eye Dust eye shadow in "Smokey Topaz". 

The color I was sent is very pretty and very shimmery, I do see myself wearing it more towards the Fall Season. I must warn you though, you need to be careful when you open up the package and when you apply the product as it is a Dust eyeshadow and so there can be a lot of fall out. I do suggest to use this product  (along with any other eyeshadows) with an eyeshadow primer. This NYC Eye Dust retails for. $2.99. A real steal. They state that they have 10 shades in all, and for $2.99 each it makes it very easy to buy all 10 shades. 

 Now this brush kind of reminds me of the type of brush you use to brush out a horse's hair. Whats unique about this detangler is that they have long and short bristles.

It states that it gets through tough tangles. I gave this brush a try last night to detangle my shampooed/air dried hair to see how well it works. The product did detangling my hair pretty well but my scalp is very sensitive so I did have to be extra light and careful when using this brush on my scalp as it did scrape my scalp a bit. The bristles are a bit sharp so do be very careful as you do not want to scrape your scalp as well. Other then that the product is easy to use. The Goody TangleFix retails for. $7.99-$8.99. 

I really love this Moroccan Oil from Suave, It really is a great oil. Now I've always used BioSilk on my hair after I straighten it, but I received a sample of the Suave Moroccan oil (prior to receiving this bottle in the Paradise VoxBox) and decided to use it a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that I truly love the way this product left my hair after I straighten it. It did not weigh my hair down, it minimized my fly aways and it left it so pretty and shiny, not greasy. I checked out how much this product retails for and for a 3FL. OZ bottle it goes for, $3.49 at Walgreens. I'm pretty sure that you can find it for the same price in other stores like Target, RiteAid, CVS etc. I will buy this product again once it runs out and I do recommend using this Moroccan oil from Suave to you gals out there.

Influenster: Palmolive "Soft Touch" VoxBox.

I received the Palmolive Soft touch voxbox from influenster a few days ago. I know alot of you females out there do not wash your dishes by hands, but there is still a few of us out there who do not to use our dish washers. I guess that I am old school like that as I do have a dish washer but tend to use it a couple of times a year as I am more used to washing the dishes by hand.

I received 2 dish detergents from Palmolive from their "Soft Touch" line. From the information that was given to me it states that the formulas on the dish detergents are mild with a touch of vitamin E, Aloe or coconut butter. There's 3 Soft touch dish detergent from Palmolive but was only given 2 to review and give my honest opinion on the soaps.

I tried out the vitamin E detergent (also known as the pink one) first to see how well it left my dishes nice and clean as well as how it left my sensitive hands feeling after using the detergent. I really do not have any complains as it did clean my dishes very well and I didn't have to keep on adding soap to the sponge. I can honestly say that it did leave my hands feeling soft.

On to the Aloe dish detergent (also known as the green one) I actually like the scent on this one over the vitamin E dish detergent. It also did its job leaving my dishes nice and clean & not to mention leaving my hands feeling soft as well. From the 2 that I tried out I like the Aloe one the best but then again I have to try the coconut butter detergent as we all know that coconut butter is very good for the skin.

Influenster: Sugar 'N Spice VoxBox 2013

I received the Influenster Sugar N Spice voxbox today and was delighted to find the goodies that were inside. ;)One of the items that were in the voxbox was this Belvita Breakfast Biscuits. They do claim that these breakfast biscuits are a good source of fiber and b-vitamins. Contains no fructose syrup and have 18-20 grams of whole greain per 50 gram serving. I must admit that these biscuits do taste pretty good, so I would most def buy again. 

The next Item I received was this Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer total Moisture. I actually like the scent and how light the moisturizer is, not greasy & its very easy to use. I would be buying this product again.

I also received these Dickinson's Towelettes. To be honest I've never used any of these types of towelettes nor have I ever purchased any, so I was happy to received these to give them a try. A person with combination skin like myself can benefits from these towelettes and the best part is that its great for  sensitive skin which Its no secret that I have sensitive skin. So I used a towelette today to test it out and to my surprise the towelette actually made my skin feel refreshed. I would actually buy these again once they run out. 

It was nice to receive these trio. Its the Colgate Optic White Regimen. I have used the optic white toothpaste before but not the mouthwash or the toothbrush as I use the spin brush. Maybe using all three will give my teeth a boost towards getting whiter. Cross my fingers. ;))

And last but not least I received a box of the  Nectresse sweetener which I have never tried before but I have tried Splenda, and Nectresse is from the makers of Splenda. I used it on a cup of tea just to try it out. I actually like this sweetener better than splenda but most of all I like the fact that it is 100% natural.

Head & Shoulders: Damage Rescue review

Good Ole Influenster sent me a vox box containing a full size of Head & Shoulders shampoo and conditioner from their new Damage Rescue line. I was excited to receive the shampoo and conditioner as I am the type of person who likes to switch up the shampoo and conditioner that I use here and there. I've already used the shampoo & conditioner once already and my honest opinion on the product is that I LOVE IT!! I actually loved the way it left my hair. It didn't leave it hard and frizzy as a lot of the shampoos and conditioners that I've used in the past have left my hair. It was my first time using the Damage Rescue line of Head & Shoulders and I am going to continue using the product as it does state that you will start noticing your dry/damaged hair become more nourished as it nurtures the hair and scalp with 'Intensive Care" in just four washes and your hair will be left 10x stronger which is a A+ for me.

Over the years my hair has gotten weak and thin, not to mention that I've never had dried itchy flaky scalp (which I do now) , so fingers cross I'm hoping that the H&S Damage Rescue shampoo and conditioner will help my hair out with giving it some much needed TLC.

Simple, easy, everyday makeup look

Someone on one of my youtube videos left me a comment asking me if I can do a simple makeup look as a lot of the looks that I do can be a bit to loud and bold for some people. So I did this look which is simple and easy to do and like I've stated it can be an everyday look for some. For this look I used a black eyeliner pencil, black eyeshadow, brown eyeshadow, pink blush and a light pink lipstick w/ a pink lipgloss.

How I scrunch up my hair. (The Wild Look)

Just wanted to show you guys how I scrunch up my hair to create 'The Wild Look". I do not have curly hair, I have wavy hair so I'm able to sometimes manipulate my hair to look curly. In the video I post the products that I use on my hair to help me achieve this crazy look. LOL

In this look, I'm using my BH Cosmetic eyeshadow palette once again, along with my NYX Gold Liquid liner and some gold glitter from NYX just to add some shimmer to the look.
